Mission Statement

To provide persons with mental health, substance use disorders and other special needs with affordable housing and services designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs, and promote their health, security and happiness.

REDI Corporation

REDI Is a 501C3 tax exempt nonprofit organization that in 1978 began providing affordable housing for Denver Health and Hospitals’ mental health programs.

Today, REDI Corporation remains committed to its mission and is proud have acquired and develop 9 projects. Collectively they provide homes to 157 residents at any one time.

These residents are people suffering from mental health and substance abuse disorders and other special needs who receive services from the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD).

REDI Corporation - Rhonda's Place

Current Project

Redi is currently in the process of developing a 50 unit apartment complex at 203 So. Federal Blvd.,Denver, named Rhonda’s Place, that will serve individuals who are chronically homeless. The name honors Rhonda Knop, a founding Board member who passed away in 2020. The project will serve both men and women. They will all have access to mental health and substance abuse services which will be provided by the Mental Health Center of Denver. In addition, they will receive help with learning or relearning activities of daily living e.g. cooking, cleaning an apartment, washing clothes etc. All residents will be at or below 30% of the area median income. Some may have VA or Social Security benefits and many will have no income whatsoever.

Eagle Award

Established in 1990, the Eagle Award represents one of the highest achievements for the Colorado housing community. This prestigious award celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments and outstanding leadership in housing and support services. The award honors individuals, agencies, projects, and programs that soar. REDI Corporation received the Eagle Award in 2005.
